Dr. Chris Norton, DDS, is a highly skilled general dentist who focuses exclusively on orthodontics, TMJ and sleep apnea treatment.
Dr. Norton graduated from Baylor Dental School in 1984. He has practiced general dentistry in Dallas and Santa Fe, New Mexico, and he formerly served as Chairman of the Dental Program at Amarillo College. Dr. Norton began orthodontic training after graduation, and he has earned numerous continuing education hours in the field.
In 2002 Dr. Norton decided to leave general dentistry to focus exclusively on orthodontics, and he has since completed an average of 250-300 cases a year. His transition to orthodontics soon spurred an interest in facial growth, orthopedic development, TMJ and snoring / sleep apnea treatment.
Dr. Norton emphasizes a gentle, non-invasive approach to care, focusing on non-extraction, non-surgical, non-headgear orthodontic treatment. He employs the latest orthodontic technologies and techniques - including Invisalign "invisible" braces - to safely and comfortably create beautiful smiles for all types of patients, including young children, teens, adults and seniors.
He has two children, Mitchell and Clair. In his spare time, Dr. Norton enjoys playing golf and watching high school sports.
